Our requirements

Under the supervision of the Coach, DDC, the L5 Driver is tasked with transporting products using a Class 1A truck. They are also responsible for operating the Moffett forklift and boom truck.

Your responsibilities

  • Operating a trailer truck (Class 1)
  • Driving a Moffett forklift and a crane truck (boom)
  • Handling orders (such as invoices, payments, returns, etc.)
  • Maintaining the truck and equipment in good and clean condition
  • Conducting inspections on the truck and equipment following RONA standards and relevant regulations
  • loading and unloading trucks
  • Transporting goods from the designated customer site truck, adhering to standards and service targets
  • Providing customer service based on SMART principles
  • Assisting in order preparation and truck loading
  • Contributing to departmental maintenance activities
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and loss prevention
  • Performing any other relevant tasks as assigned by the management team

The desired qualifications

  • Completion of Secondary V education
  • Valid Class 1A driver's license, with over 18 months of driving experience and not more than 3 demerit points on record
  • Valid Moffett forklift driver's license
  • Proficiency in operating a truck crane (boom)
  • Capability to engage in continuous physical labor, including lifting loads of up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds)
  • Ability to work outdoors for 50 to 80% of working hours, and withstand varying temperatures
  • Competence in delivery administration
  • Customer service skills
  • Bilingualism is considered an advantage
