Oliver Park Dental is currently seeking an experienced Treatment Coordinator.

Treatment Coordinator, you will be the bridge between patients and the clinical team, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for our patients.


Responsibilities
Patient Communication

  • Communicate with patients to explain treatment options, procedures and associated costs in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Address patient inquiries, concerns and provide accurate information to alleviate any anxieties related to treatment.
Treatment Planning

  • Collaborate with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical recommendations.
  • Explain plans to patients, highlighting benefits, potential risks and alternatives.
Appointment Scheduling

  • Coordinate appointments, surgeries and procedures based on patient and clinical team availability.
  • Maintain an organized scheduling system to optimize patient flow and ensure efficient use of resources.
Financial Guidance

  • Present treatment costs, payment options, insurance coverage and financial arrangement to patients.
  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and submitting claims if necessary.
Documentation & Records

  • Maintain accurate and up to date patient records, treatment plans and communication history.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and privacy standards when handling patient information.
Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure seamless execution of treatment plans.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and the dental team, facilitating effective communication.
Patient Support

  • Provide emotional support and empathy to patients, addressing their concerns and helping them feel at ease during the treatment process.
  • Offer resources and information to help patients prepare for procedures and recover posttreatment.
Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed about the latest treatments, technologies and industry trends to provide accurate and relevant information to patients.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

  • Sales or business development experience
  • Proven experience in a patientfacing role, preferably in a dental care setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment procedures, and insurance processes
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and scheduling software.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations.
  • Compassionate and patientcentered approach to patient care.
  • Problemsolving skills and the ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations professionally
  • Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Salary:
$19.00-$30.00 per hour
