About the Opportunity

As part of the team at Nova Scotia Health, you will be providing escort, transfer, transportation, and delivery services as needed under the guidance of the Assistant Manager of Porter Services. Your responsibilities may involve assisting with the movement of patients, specimens, medications, medical documents, and equipment.

About You

We are excited to hear from individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent (GED) is a must
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both verbal and written communication, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, patients, and the general public
  • Capacity to manage priorities, work efficiently under pressure, and address minor issues as they arise
  • Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous, with a preference for proficiency in French

Hours
  • This is a permanent, full-time role with a workload of 75 hours every two weeks
Compensation and Incentives
