Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate server assistant to join our team at a vibrant Coastal Mediterranean restaurant in Toronto.

As a server assistant at Abrielle, you are responsible for supporting the front of house team in all areas.

Reports to
General Manager & Assistant General Manager.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Support the service team in exceeding guest expectations.
  • Ensure that service stations are fully stocked at all time
  • Ensure all glassware & cutlery are polished.
  • Clear, clean and reset tables efficiently and effectively
  • Run drinks and food with an attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Ensure accurate table and seat numbers are used when delivering food to tables
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the dining room and guest bathrooms.
  • Support the set up & tear of banquet events in the private dining room & banquet space
  • Assist in other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager

Skills and Qualifications

  • Positive and resilient attitude
  • At least 1 year server assistant and/or customer service experience an asset
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues
  • Smart Serve Certification a requirement
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues

  • Smart Serve Certification a requirement
  • A Degree/ Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent considered an asset

Schedule:

  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability
