Member Services Specialist Team Lead

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Team Lead Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate and inspire MSS team by cultivating a culture of open communication and teamwork.
  • Coordinate and oversee daytoday activities and initiatives of the field team.
  • Monitor team performance and report on KPI's and other important metrics from the field.
  • Organize quarterly focus for the field team, including communications and supporting resources as required.
  • Provide field team assignments and plan geographical travel of field agents.
  • Set clear team goals, delegate tasks, and manage deadlines.
  • Discover training needs and setup appropriate resources.
  • Resolve conflict and provide coaching as required for team.
  • Schedule team activities and planning sessions.
  • Provide support with conference management; supporting in organizing the team and logistics of events as well as attend conferences to provide live support.
  • Recruit Member Services Specialists, set objectives, train, and develop skills among the team members.
  • MSS Responsibilities:
  • Regular travel required for management of geographical call cycle.
  • Proactive practice visits to foster relationships with our members and answer all questions and concerns efficiently and professionally.
  • Serve as a voice for our members, bringing back field information to be utilized internally to better serve them.
  • Provide initial discovery calls and needs assessments to create a plan to assist practices in goals.
  • Develop and facilitate microsession presentations for member practices in both live and virtual formats.
  • Maintain up to date records of field visits and practice visits.

Skills and knowledge required:

  • 5 years of direct experience in the veterinary industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Familiar with veterinary concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making
  • Organization/time management
  • The ability to be flexible with hours and travel regularly
  • The ability to establish and maintain professional networks and connections
