The Opportunity:

Trojan Technologies is seeking a full time
EHS Specialist to join our team onsite in
London, Ontario. If you want to find yourself in an environment that

What Will I Be Doing?
Working on-site 40 hours per week, you'll spend your days collaborating with colleagues, supporting multiple departments (HR, OPS, R&D) and demonstrating your analytical and problem-solving skills

More specifically, you can expect to:

  • Ensure compliance with all Trojan Technologies policies and procedures, as well as with all federal, provincial, and local government EHS regulations.
  • Develop and execute action plans to continuously improve the maturity of the site's EHS program through the Danaher Maturity Assessment Tool.
  • Be responsible for WSIB claims management, partnering with HR, OPS, R&D, and other functional leaders.
  • Lead site teams in completing and updating qualitative risk assessments.
  • Participate in internal onsite and crosssite audits, with a focus on risk containment and the closure of audit findings."

What Qualifications Do I Need?

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or other applicable field(s).
  • 5+ years of EHS experience
  • Working knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act, Industrial Regulations, and Workplace Safety and Insurance Act
  • Professional designation (CRSP or CRST) is preferred
  • Experience with laboratories and ISO 14001 Standard is preferred
