Position Summary

:


Reporting to the Manager, Data Analytics, the Data Analyst is responsible for helping our customers make data-related recommendations and derive maximum value from Trulioo's service offering.

This includes data review, visualization, outcome-based recommendations as well as client-facing presentations and collaboration across Trulioo's business teams.

What you'll be doing

:

  • Tell powerful stories from extracted and researched data to our enterprise customers using a variety of visual aids, interactive dashboards, and/or written reports.
  • Examine data to identify trends, exceptions, and areas for further investigation.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders both orally and in writing, to translate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Contribute to the improvement and automation of systematic processes to help the team scale efficiently.

You have

:

  • Experience in gathering, cleaning, researching, and reporting on data; including a demonstrated ability to identify appropriate statistical review for large datasets, visualization of the data, and measurement goals.
  • 3+ years doing reporting and data review
  • 3+ years experience or equivalent working with relational databases in a SQL environment
  • 3+ years experience or equivalent creating and presenting reports using a Business Intelligence tool, such as Tableau, Power BI, Domo, Looker, etc.
  • Proficient in MS Excel; able to perform pivot tables, pivot charts, and advanced functions in MS Excel and other visualization tools
  • Strong problem solving ability and is able to reasonably scan, identify root causes and provide effective solutions with a high level of detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a customeroriented, fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Bonus: experience working with a scripting language such as Python or R in a combination of professional and/or selftaught environment.
  • Bachelor degree in Business with a quantitative specialization, bachelor degree in a quantitative area such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
