Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc.

is rapidly growing provider of US and Canadian Customs Services, Trade Consulting, Supply Chain Logistics, including parcel and courier delivery.

Our facilities in Regina & Saskatoon coordinate all the courier work in Saskatchewan.

We are seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to work in our office located in Regina, SK. This is a full time permanent role from Monday to Friday. Shifts will be during the daytime and may vary as needed.

Under the guidance of the Operations Assistant, you will assist daily with local dispatching, customer service, other administrative tasks.


Attention to detail, accurate and timely data entry, ability to learn customized software programs, and strong customer service skills are imperative.


Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch drivers for courier deliveries.
  • Communicate with drivers regarding the status of their deliveries.
  • Update information using our internal system and notify our drivers as new information is received.
  • Resolve issues regarding delivery, pick up, or transfer requests, & escalate to management as necessary.
  • Input orders and quotes into dispatch software
  • Perform administrative/general office duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Prioritize daily tasks, including routine and nonroutine phone calls and requests.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Varied computer experience, include the use of Tracking Software, GPS, Online Maps, etc.
  • Knowledge of the streets of Regina and the distance and time to travel between and within most surrounding towns.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong English communication skills both written and oral.
  • Knowledge of various commercial trucks (cargo vans, 1/3/5 tons, trailers etc.) an asset.
  • Previous experience working within the transportation/courier industry an asset.
  • Criminal Record Check is required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
