About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Development Executive to join our team.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities in various sectors including the medical community, pharmaceuticals, and technology industries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new markets, growth areas, trends, and opportunities for expansion.
  • Engage with customers and clients facetoface, over the phone, or virtually to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Understand customer needs, especially in the pharmaceutical, medical, and technology sectors, and develop effective strategies to meet these needs.
  • Coordinate and organize workshops and briefings with key stakeholders such as the press, medical community, and drug manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to enhance product and service features.
  • Conduct sales forecasts, analysis, and present findings to senior management.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy.
  • Think strategically to set objectives for business development and improvement.
  • Train and mentor team members, including arranging external training.
  • Liaise with the marketing department on promotional strategies and activities.
  • Participate in seminars, conferences, and industry events.
  • Stay updated on business world trends and changes.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in a technology company.
  • Proficient in time management, multitasking, organization, and teamwork.
  • Excellent problemsolving, negotiation, and phone etiquette skills.
  • Strong proficiency in oral and written communication.
  • Competent in data entry, reporting, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google workstation, Slack, and Adobe are essential. Proficiency in using Git Hub, Notion, Salesforce /Zendesk/HubSpot are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership in Business Development, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Digital Marketing skills.
  • Experience in tech startups, and a history of strong past performance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a degree in Business Management or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 10 years of Business Development experience.
  • Experience in mergers, acquisitions, online marketing/sales, team leadership, project management, experience in software as a service (SaaS) business or managing a software company is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Chat GPT in an added advantage.
  • A postgraduate degree in Business Administration is a plus.
