A skilled kitchen brigade member is needed for Locals Restaurant in Courtenay.

We are renowned for providing an outstanding dining experience using locally sourced, prime ingredients, with everything made from scratch, in house.

The successful applicant:

  • Is a skilled chef with formal training and /or significant industry experience
  • Is an enthusiastic team member and leads by example
  • Is passionate about cooking and is creative
  • Has an excellent eye for detail and has exemplary food safety skills
  • Must be open when receiving constructive feedback
  • Comfortable when giving positive feedback and eager to mentor others
  • Has a calm demeanor, dealing well in a fast past, demanding work environment
  • Is willing to follow communicable disease prevention guidelines

Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour
