Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

  • Group leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge of student life and related issues, presentation experience, and training experience are essential.
  • Knowledge and expertise in translating student development theory to practice is essential.
  • Proven experience in building relationships with partner organizations (campus departments, student associations, etc) based on mutual trust, respect, genuineness, and commitment.

Education and Experience:

The above is normally acquired through the completion of:

  • Four (4) year Bachelor of Social Work or Commerce, and Master's degree (preferably in Higher Education, or Business Administration), or a four year university degree and post graduate certificate in Student Affairs from a recognized college.
  • Three (3) years' experience with supervising student employees
  • Previous experience working with budgeting and financial systems
  • Demonstrated past experience in project management and operations oversight
