The
Specialist, Grant Lifecycle Management System lead the creation, data migration and resolve on going bottlenecks issues of Grant Lifecycle Manager system (Foundant Software) for Reaching Home Program while developing security protocols, enhancing productivity and user experience.


This competitively rewarded role will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office.

Periodically, in-person events or activities will be required of you.

This is a 12 month full time, temporary role.

A typical day involves

  • Lead the IT creation and design of the Reaching Home data migration and manage ongoing bottlenecks issues of the Grant Lifecycle Manager system
  • Develop security protocols, enhance productivity and user experience based on business needs
  • Support the creation, deployment, and training offerings of the Grant Lifecycle Management system to the Reaching Home team and external stakeholders
  • Support the creation of best practices for uniform use of the Grant Lifecycle Manager system within Reaching Home and other VCF Departments for more focused collaboration.
  • Work on other projects as assigned that are related to the Grant Lifecycle Management system

You have

  • Diploma in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, and/or Information Technology from a recognized postsecondary institution or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of IT software experience.
  • Experience in granting, foundations, nonprofits, housing management or related areas from a software perspective would be considered an asset.
  • Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills to diagnose challenges
  • Very strong administration skills and attention to detail required.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to create a clear understanding of expectations and address challenges and issues for the business unit
