Position Summary

Organizational Relationships


Reporting to the Executive Vice-President, Head of Health and Wellness Services, the Vice-President, Sales will get the chance to interact cross-functionally with teams across the business, but more specifically the commercial and marketing teams.

They will also get the chance to be a sales leader and continue to lead our sales teams to success.


Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement robust sales strategies to expand CloudMD revenue and market presence
  • Team Development: Lead, coach, and inspire a national Business Development team, fostering a culture of excellence, ethical sales practices, and clientcentric continuous improvement.
  • Sales Excellence: Deliver on challenging sales targets, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Partner closely with internal teams, especially marketing and operations, to create a unified approach to customer service and product offerings.
  • Analytical Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, offering insightful analysis directly to the EVP HWS and Commercial
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage the sales budget effectively, optimizing spend for maximum impact.
  • Compliance and Integrity: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and maintain high ethical standards in all business dealings.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrable experience in a senior sales role within the healthcare sector, ideally in a publicly traded company.
  • Strategic Acumen: Excellent ability to strategize, plan, and execute complex sales plans

Communication Skills:
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Market Insight: Deep understanding of the healthcare industry and emerging market trends.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. An MBA is highly preferred.
  • Relationship Building: Strong networking skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problemsolving skills with a focus on innovative solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (eg. HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.

What you need to be successful:

  • Willingness to travel as required by the role and extensive in-market sales support and coaching.
  • A track record of ethical leadership and professional integrity.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken (asset)
