Are you interested in working with a group of talented actuaries in an environment that fosters growth and development? You may be just the person we're looking for.


What you will do:

  • Lead the work of documenting business needs and finding a solution for the adaptation of various system elements used to, among other things, make a product and pricing offer to our members and clients. These adaptations are necessary due to system changes, product changes and changes in the questions asked to customers in bids.
  • Effectively communicate assumptions and results of your analyses to various internal stakeholders
  • Support IT colleagues in the implementation of your solutions
  • Interact and align with a wide range of stakeholders in various areas of expertise
  • Provide actuarial expertise to various internal stakeholders, such as members of the offering, distribution, business architecture, IT, etc. teams
  • Support testing teams in test development and bug management/repair.
Other working conditions- Workplace: Position located in Lévis, Calgary, Mississauga, Montreal or Toronto, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is flexible hybrid work #LI-Hybrid- Number of jobs available: 1

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience in general insurance (an asset)


Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.- Successful completion or certification of at least 2 CAS/SOA/SAS exams- For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required.

Specific knowledge- Knowledge of business analysis, data modeling (an asset)- Upper intermediate knowledge of English, both oral and written, due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
