RVA is looking for Civil Engineering Students to join the Municipal team on an months full-time contract in various locations. This position will begin approximately in May 2024.

Duties:
  1. Assist in pre-engineering site surveys and inspection during construction.
  2. Design of roads, rail, sewers, watermains and municipal infrastructure projects.
  3. Help prepare AutoCAD/MicroStation design drawings.
  4. Provide office support during the construction stage of projects.
  5. Assist with quantity calculations and preparing tender documents.
  6. Aid the RVA team to ensure quality project delivery to our clients.
Qualifications:
  1. Must be currently enrolled in a third or fourth-year Civil Engineering program at an accredited University.
  2. Knowledge of AutoCAD/MicroStation is an asset.
  3. Demonstrates superior communication skills - both oral and written.
  4. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere.
  6. Must have a valid Class G Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
