Product Engineer

- Manage product support of business unit products from concept to sustain through the New Product Development cycle
- Collaborate with design, process, test, reliability, and quality engineering teams internally, and engage with customers externally to resolve product issues throughout the product lifecycle
- Collaborate with manufacturing and NPD team to implement continuous quality improvement changes for enhanced yield, reduced manufacturing costs, and decreased scrap costs
- Analyze customer returns to identify failure mechanisms and establish cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions aiming for zero defects
- Conduct competitor product benchmarking, specifications analysis, die size optimization, and manufacturing transfers
- Support Qualification reject investigations and generate technical documents such as statistical analysis reports and lessons learned findings
- Lead ECO generation and implementation for quality and product improvement purposes while maintaining product data and documentation
- Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers and promote Continuous Professional Development
- BS in Electrical Engineering required (MS preferred) with several years of experience in new product design, introduction, or management
- Experience in mixed signal semiconductor IC development is advantageous
- Desired proficiency in product electrical/electronic design, applications, and analytical problem-solving
- Strong critical thinking skills, superior verbal and written communication, teamwork, and leadership qualities are essential
- Proven ability to deliver results in a high-volume production environment with a strong focus on quality standards
- Advanced statistical skills with experience in statistical tool analysis; Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is a plus
