We are recruiting for a part-time position of Warehouse Worker with a Class 1 License for our Victoria facility (Island Farms).

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Worker (internally known as Checker/Loader) is primarily responsible for picking, staging and loading product onto trailers to ready for shipment.

In addition, there will be the requirement to shunt trailers in the yard as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the operation of mobile equipment including swing reach forklift, reach truck forklift and pallet jack
• Ability to work in cold environment (Cooler and Freezer); maintain a clean and safety workplace; take initiative and be an active team member
• Valid Class 1 license with clear driver's abstract
• Physically fit with a good attendance and personal safety record
• Able to perform and learn a variety of tasks with mínimal direction
• Proven ability to effectively and proactively communicate stock related needs, maintain inventory control procedures and assist in ordering appropriate stock
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
