Grizzlytrek is supporting a leading environmental solutions provider committed to ensuring the sustainable management of water resources.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Technician to join our team for an exciting project in Trail, BC.


Position Overview:

As a Water Technician, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our water management project.

This position involves working 10-hour shifts on a rotating schedule for a project duration of 2 years. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to water treatment, monitoring, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and operation of custom-built mobile water treatment equipment.
Optimize equipment and troubleshoot for deficiencies on a continuous basis.
Accurately collect and compile sample data for reporting to stakeholdersCalibrate equipment as per operating manual requirements.
Interpret results and adjust equipment.
Other related duties as requested.
Conduct equipment and site inspections.

Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and system alarmsCollaborate with a team of professionals to ensure project goals are metAdhere to safety protocols and regulations Qualifications:
Previous experience in water treatment or a related fieldKnowledge of water treatment processes and equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to listen and want to learn Strong problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailGood communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to work in a shift-based schedule Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentRelevant certifications in water treatment or a related field (asset)
