Eaton's Electrical Sector is currently recruiting for a Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This position is based at the Mississauga, Ontario facility and will be working on day shift.

Position Overview:


Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible to have a thorough knowledge of all standard Panelboard, Control Product and some custom product assemblies and all related materials required to complete the assembly.


This role is located at one of our Eaton Satellite locations (6 in total), which are located across Canada and comprise of smaller assemble-to-order facilities and complement our medium to large manufacturing facilities within Canada.

In this function you will:

  • Work to standard operating procedures, bill of materials, manufacturing information, and instructions from Product Specialists to complete assembly and/or wiring
  • Demonstrate your experience and knowledge in interpreting wiring schematics
  • Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly by conducting Inspection for conformance to drawings and specifications, functional operation and appearance and making mechanical adjustments as needed
  • Perform pack and ship duties
  • Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S
  • Assist team in achieving plant and department goals
  • Assist with onthejob training and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
  • Minimum 3 years' role related experience.
  • No relocation provided.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant work experience of 5 or more years would be preferred.
