Position:
Child Care Centre Supervisor

Location: 418 Moodie Drive, Ottawa, ON

Responsibilities:

As a
Centre Supervisor, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the overall operation of the centre including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing.
  • Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
  • Understanding and enforcing all province regulations within the building.
  • Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members.
  • Providing effective communication with families about their child.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and regulations
  • Meet all provincial requirements for employment in the childcare field.
  • Hold a current certification in Standard First Aid and infant child CPR.
  • Maintain uptodate immunization and health assessment in accordance with local Minister of Health Requirements.

Pay:
$23.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Benefits:

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ottawa, ON K2H 8A6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
