Opportunity - Broadcasting: Television and Communications Media
We are looking for qualified professionals to teach part-time in our Television program at our Fennell Campus.
We are looking for expertise in the following areas:
- Post Production Avid Media Composer
- Graphic Design for Television and Digital Content
- Adobe Photoshop and After Effects training
- Live Sports and Entertainment Multi-Camera Remote Production
- Troubleshooting broadcast systems, critical path and signal flow
- Crew and equipment management for location production
- DSLR shooting techniques
- MCOM 10401 Post Production 1: Use software to edit video and graphics. Illustrate post production and graphics principles used for interview segments and new media.
- MCOM 10409 Productions 3: Develop location shooting skills with a focus on interview and B-Roll acquisition for documentary formats. Create multicamera studio productions by collaborating as a cohesive team. Plan multicamera location productions by Identify key elements of technical design and assess the equipment requirements to complete production.

September 2023 (courses may run Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00pm)

Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have:
- Relevant educational qualifications: a degree or equivalent experience in Television production, Film production, or a closely related field.
- Five (5) years industry related experience in their teaching field.
- Prior postsecondary teaching experience is preferred.
- Highly proficient with recent handson experience using Adobe Photoshop, Avid Media Composer, Sony A7iii, Evertz DreamCatcher, Ross XPression, Blackmagic Design Production Switcher, Ross Inception, Production Audio Consoles, Production Lighting Consoles.
- Excellent communication and human relations skills and a commitment to diversity and equity are essential. Ability to work in an environment where a diversity of people and situations are encountered.
- Prior experience using technology (i.e. LMS, online teaching, etc.).
