We manufacture cabinets for contractors across Southern Ontario.EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS ROLE:
- Build and assemble custom cabinets, closet organizers, and pantries;
- Must be a fully skilled cabinet maker or carpenter;
- Safe use of general hand, air, and power tools;
- Safe operation of woodworking machinery and equipment, such as saws, drill presses and boring machines;
- Interaction with some heavy machinery and moving equipment;
- Yard move of commercial box trucks and occasional deliveries;
- Receive and stow inventory;
- Wrap and store orders;
- Operate forklift to load trucks for delivery;
- Operate carts, dollies, and hand trucks to move large quantities of products;
- Daily janitorial responsibilities to maintain a tidy warehouse;
- Work in compliance with all procedures and health and safety policies;
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Lifting or moving up to 50 pounds is required;
- Stand/walk and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach;
- Excellent oral communication;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently in a fastpaced manufacturing facility;
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, written instructions and design specifications;
- Strong mathematical knowledge and ability to read/take accurate measurements;
- Organized, good time management and prioritizing skills;
- Minimum high school diploma;
- Valid Ontario class 'G' driver's licence with a clean driving record (required).
Salary:
$20.00-$28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
