Compass Homecare is looking to add to our Client Services team

Location:
Markham (temporarily remote)

Hours:

Full-time (8:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday)

Some nights and weekend on-call

Responsibilities:

  • Receive referrals from public, private and insurance companies and determines appropriate staff to be scheduled
  • Communicates directly with clients to determine scheduling requirements
  • Confirms services with client, family and Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS)
  • Assists with recruiting/onboarding initiatives
  • Accurately provides client information and travel information to scheduled team members
  • Ensures and maintains continuity of schedule for every client
  • Resolves and documents day to day issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicates with all stakeholders scheduling changes
  • Ensures client safety
  • Prepares incident reports as required and ensures
  • Daily tasks including filing, faxing, reading and processing files

Qualifications:

  • Strong scheduling and coordination experience
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Detail oriented individual with strong organizational skills
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
  • Flexible to cover daytime or evening shifts
