We provide a wide range of services including design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and support. Our certifications include Transport Canada AMO, AS9100 Rev C, EASA 145, and FAA authorization.

We are currently seeking to fill the role of Buyer, reporting to the General Manager.

Buyer:

The Buyer plays a crucial role in product selection, cost estimation, bidding, and material purchasing for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase materials and coordinate procurement activities for goods and services.
  • Review requisitions, conduct supplier interviews, and gather product information.
  • Conduct New Supplier Authorization processes.
  • Select products based on testing and observation.
  • Estimate values and determine procurement methods.
  • Review bids, negotiate contracts, and prepare purchase orders.
  • Maintain procurement records and manage inventories.
  • Address quality issues and collaborate with stakeholders for corrective actions.
  • Analyze sales orders and anticipate material needs.
  • Place orders, verify receipts, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Collaborate across departments and support purchasing activities.
  • Supervise inventory counts and supplier audits.
  • Negotiate shipping contracts and update operational systems.
  • Work on building maintenance and manage company vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of Business Administration education.
  • 3 to 5 years of buying experience.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, strong organizational skills, and a cooperative mindset.
