Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret drawings and work orders in order to determine components, valves and soldering required to complete work according to job specifications
  • Assemble, align, and clamp various sized copper pipes and valves onto coil or riser units to solder and/or braze components
  • Complete tasks while ensuring performance targets and quality standards are maintained
  • Maintain proper and accurate documentation of production
  • Performs regular equipment operation checks and reports maintenance requirements or defects to the Supervisor
  • Follows "Safety First" philosophy
  • Performs proper housekeeping and cleanup of welding booth
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education
  • Ability to read, interpret blueprints, drawings and work samples
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Oxy-Acetylene Soldering/ Brazing
  • Must be able to use hand and pneumatic tools
  • Good hand and eye coordination
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform duties as required with mínimal supervision
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lb.

Salary:
$18.80 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Ability to Relocate:

  • Mississauga, ON: Relocate before starting work (required)
