Roles & Responsibilities
- Comply with company safety program and policies.
- Work in a strong team environment and complete tasks as assigned.
- Strong communication skills.
Qualification Requirements
2. have a valid driver's license with an Air endorsement.
3. 1A or 3A an asset or license equivalent too.
- Provide a drivers abstract.
- Have valid TDG training.
- Comply with company safety program and policies.
- Comply with all Saskatchewan's traffic laws, Federal regulations, and safety requirements.
- Complete daily equipment checklists.
- May require pre-access drug testing for some sites.
Preferred Skill:
- Willing to work long hours in all weather conditions.
- Able to maintain a clean work site.
- Saskatoon based, but willing to travel based on work.
- Operate equipment in a safe manor.
- Have strong work ethics and wanting to work in a team environment.
- Able to perform regular physical/labour work and stand for long periods of time.
- Able to transport materials in a safe manner.
- Have a strong work ethic and wanting to work in a team environment.
- Keep the truck in good working condition and clean and able to identify any potential problems.
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Able to operate other equipment, ie: skidsteer, rollers, plate tampers are an asset.
- Leadership qualities
- Work closely with the paving Foreman and Superintendent and other crew members.
- Able to help the crew with the use of hand toolsshovels, rakes, brooms, hand tampers, spray cans.
