Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation, order and consistency

Welcome/ acknowledge customers immediately
Present restaurant menus, make menu and beverage recommendations, answer questions and share additional information
Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products
Communicate special order details to the kitchen staff
Upsell additional products when appropriate
Be familiar with the menu items and aware of potential allergy/dietary issues
Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff
Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
Issue bills and accept payment
Clear tables and carry dirty dishes, cutlery and glassware to kitchen for cleaning
Follow all relevant health department regulations
Showcase The Good Earth wine portfolio
Promote the entire experience at The Good Earth
Clean and polish glassware as well as cutlery
Support the team in executing duties not specified above as requested
Complete any additional duties as established and directed by The Good Earth Head Office
