Title: Community Health Nurse - Resource Team
Contract: Casual
Hours: Part-time hours per week
Location: Interior Region, B.C.
Bargaining Unit: Professional Institute of Public Service of Canada

About the role
As the Community Health Nurse, you will work in an expanded scope of practice to provide primary care, public health, health promotion, and emergency care for First Nations individuals, families, and communities, including after hours on-call care. You will work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have / be:

A bachelor's degree in nursing Current registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) Working towards or are Remote certified (RNC) with BCCNM is preferred. Must have emergency and or critical care experience. Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP) Valid Class 5 Driver's license An understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols Knowledge of nursing processes

You may have experience in; primary care, disease and injury prevention, health protection, curative, urgent and emergent care, medical / surgical, rehabilitation and supportive or palliative care.
