Summary:
Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, the Retail Lead is responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of a retail store department

Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and leadership to the department team members, working closely with the manager
- Delegate tasks to team members, provide clear direction, and ensure proper execution
- Support team members' growth by training on standard procedures and processes
- Ensure compliance with procedures and systems, offering guidance and correction as needed
- Handle administrative tasks for the department
- Offer exceptional customer service, identifying needs and providing product recommendations
- Promote company programs to team members and customers
- Maintain visual standards in-store, including signage, merchandising, and cleanliness
- Resolve customer issues using judgment and logic
- Assist in other store areas as required

Qualifications:
- At least two years of supervisory experience in sales or service preferred
- Open availability for varying shifts, including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to assess customer needs and make appropriate recommendations
- Strong customer service skills and ability to exceed expectations
- Ability to exercise good judgment and logic
- Related experience or knowledge of outdoor lifestyle is beneficial
- Familiarity with Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's products is an advantage
