Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Automation Controls and Mechanical Design teams to assemble, test, support, and service automation cells in the plastics injection molding industry.
  • Assembly of automation cells include: mechanical, electrical, electrical panels, and pneumatic components
  • Able to troubleshoot and diagnose electromechanical systems, such as servo drives/motors, PLCs, pneumatics, and static chargers/eliminators.
  • Replace, service, and recalibrate industrial equipment such as endofarmtooling (EOAT), motors, pumps, electrical components, etc.
  • Package equipment, and components for shipment.
  • Generate reports, documenting service calls for both scheduled and unscheduled visits.
  • Travelling will be required, mostly within but not limited to North and South America.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Qualifications, Experience, Education

  • Proven knowledge of Machining and Injection Molding industry.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
  • Able to read electrical schematics and knowledge of wiring and cable routing is required.
  • Able to read assembly prints is required.
  • Electrical License is an asset.
  • Forklift license and/or training is an asset
  • In Mold Labelling knowledge is an asset.
  • B&R controls platform knowledge is an asset.
  • Fluency in Spanish is an asset.
