Responsibilities:

  • Approximately 60% technical responsibilities, 40% team responsibilities
  • Technical responsibilities
  • Web development on client projects
  • Lead the web team in planning webbased client projects, discussing architecture and technical decisions with team members
  • Collaborate on creating ballpark estimates for web development projects
  • Identify bottlenecks and inconsistencies in our web development processes, and work with the team to define and implement new processes
  • Strive for consistency in process and technology choice across web projects
  • Team Responsibilities
  • Mentor and coach other members of the web team, including 1on1 checkins, and technical discussions
  • Monitor and discuss team strengths and opportunities with the CTO and other leads
  • Train the web team on new processes, and monitor the effectiveness of these processes
  • Assist in the technical interviews for new web development team members

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional web programming experience
  • 1+ years experience in a development lead role
  • Experience working in multiple projects of differing size, including at least one project with a budget of more than $1 million
  • Professional experience with our development technology stacks
  • PHP / Laravel
- .NET

  • Experience estimating development tasks and working with project managers
  • A love for streamlining processes, removing manual bottlenecks, and making things repeatable and predictable across projects

Nice to have:

  • Automation and WebOps experience
  • AWS Cloud hosting services and configuration
  • Experience as a developer in additional technology stacks
  • Technical project management experience
  • Experience interfacing with clients
