What You Will Do:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead SAP Supply Chain Configuration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with SAP S4/HANA and SAP FIORI. They will be proficient in SAP modules such as Material Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (WM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Kanban and Plant Maintenance (PM). This role requires a proactive individual who takes ownership, demonstrates responsibility, excels at multitasking, and effectively supports both ongoing projects and daily support operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Configuration and Customization:

  • Lead the configuration and customization of SAP S4/HANA modules including MM, IM, WM, EWM, Kanban and PM.
  • Ensure configurations align with business processes and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain configuration documentation and guidelines.
  • Expertise in understanding interfaces relating to external Production Planning systems, warehouse automations, procurement portals and a good understanding of IDoc messages.
  • Strong scoping/estimation, problem solving, troubleshooting and technical experience with the ability to root cause application issues.
  • Expertise delivering across all phases of delivery: requirements gathering, assessment, design, configuration, testing, cutover, and support.
Support and Maintenance:
  • Provide expert-level support for SAP supply chain modules, addressing and resolving complex issues.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with Basis & Security teams to maintain system health and perform necessary upgrades.
Business Process Improvement:
  • Analyze and optimize business processes within the supply chain modules.
  • Find opportunities for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance system utilization.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Use SAP Analytics Cloud and Business Objects for advanced data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
Project Management:
  • Self Manage small SAP-related projects, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Work remotely with the tools which facilitate collaboration and ability to travel to office when needed for connecting with the team.
Leadership and Mentoring:
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating ownership, responsibility, and a commitment to excellence.

  • 8 + years demonstrated ability in SAP supply chain configuration.
  • Proven experience with SAP S4/HANA & SAP FIORI.
  • Extensive knowledge of MM, IM, WM, EWM, and PM modules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and responsibility for tasks and projects.
Nice to Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • SAP certification(s) in relevant modules is a plus.
