Your Opportunity:

This position will help support the successful launch of Connect Care as a Pharmacy Technician Barcode Lead.

This Pharmacy Technician will work within a larger implementation team to help complete all necessary tasks for proper set-up, build and launch of Connect Care across the Zone.

This position requires effective communication and coordination with many teams, as well as travel to numerous sites to help with the education and preparation of staff and sites for Connect Care.


Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products. You will receive and triage medication orders, compound and repackage medication and prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Willingness to travel to help support site based barcoding implementation.
