Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barback / Bartender (dual role) to join our team.

As a Barback / Bartender, you will be responsible for supporting the Bartender / Servers and ensuring they have teh tools neeed to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests.

Your role will also involve providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our patrons.

Duties:

  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and making recommendations
  • Cleaning bar and table surfaces throughout the shift & at the end
  • Wiping down chairs, railings, and other hightouch surfaces
  • During shift, removing and disposing of bags from trash receptacles in and around the bar area
  • During shift, Removing used glassware and other utensils from customers' table
  • During shift Clean and restock bathrooms to ensure the space is ready for guests
  • Help tear down special events décor
  • Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins and all other necessary items before and during service hours.
  • Prepare / Refill garnishes, refill ice wells, Restock beer, and restock napkins and straws.
  • Clean up the spills, remove the glassware and organize the counter.
  • Coordinate with managers, kitchen staff and security personnel to ensure efficient service to customers.
  • Handle emergency situations, like cleaning up broken glasses and clearing up clogged drains
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and making recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails according to established recipes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service and smooth operation of the bar

Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred
  • Some knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and drink preparation techniques
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is a plus
