Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Landscape Construction Specialist to join our dynamic team.

As a Landscape Construction Specialist, you will be a key player in turning design concepts into reality, contributing to the creation of exceptional outdoor environments for our valued clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in landscape construction to perform a wide range of tasks, including grading, excavation, planting, hardscape installation (pavers, stone work, etc.), irrigation systems, and more.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of construction equipment and tools, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Prepare and level terrain to ensure optimal drainage and topography, laying the foundation for successful landscape installations.
  • Lead the installation of hardscape elements such as retaining walls, pathways, decks, and other structures, showcasing your craftsmanship and technical skills.
  • Skillfully plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation to bring the landscape design to life.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of labourers and craftsmen to uphold project timelines and uphold high standards of workmanship.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify challenges, and propose effective solutions to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Adhere to stringent safety guidelines and regulations, fostering a secure work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used, project hours, and other essential documentation.
  • Share your expertise and provide guidance to junior team members, contributing to their growth and development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in the landscape construction industry, with a strong background in hardscape installation and outdoor project implementation.
  • Adept at interpreting landscape design plans and blueprints, ensuring accurate execution of design intent.
  • Proficiency in operating construction machinery, including excavators, loaders, and compaction equipment.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing demanding outdoor tasks in diverse weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, fostering productive collaboration with team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Problemsolving aptitude, enabling you to navigate unforeseen challenges during project implementation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to delivering superior workmanship.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses in landscape construction, hardscape installation, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Salary:
$25.00-$40.00 per hour
