Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments of materials and supplies
  • Verify accuracy of shipments by comparing items received to packing lists or purchase orders
  • Unload and unpack items from delivery trucks using forklifts or other heavy equipment
  • Sort and organize received items in designated storage areas
  • Update inventory records to reflect received items and quantities
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient flow of materials within the warehouse
  • Daily order picking and packing as needed
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklift to move heavy materials
  • Perform monthly inventory counts

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role within the woodworking industry preferred
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, counterbalance forklift ticket prefered
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, sometimes exceeding 50 pounds
  • Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management systems
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues

$20.00-$25.00 per hour
