The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Faculty of Engineering invites applications for one replacement professor faculty position.

Title of the position: Replacement professor at the assistant professor level

Duties: The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the chemical engineering program. The successful candidate will be expected to teach more than the normal course load.

Term: Two years.

Wage: Assistant professor salary scale commensurate at $94,588.

Benefits package: The University of Ottawa provides a complete compensation package which includes long term disability, basic group life insurance, supplementary health insurance, University of Ottawa Pension Plan and optional life insurance.

Skills requirements:

  • Education: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related disciple
  • Work experience: A demonstrated excellent track record in teaching several undergraduate courses. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills in either English or French. English-French bilingualism is an asset.
