Job Duties:

  • Take calls, triage cases based on urgency and schedule accordingly.
  • Be confident at handling animals that are brought in for appointments and surgeries and assign them appropriate rooms and doctors.
  • Create estimates and be responsible for veterinary billing. Training will be provided.
  • Deal with suppliers, distributers and pharmaceutical representatives.
  • Oversee pet insurance claims and ensure they are submitted to insurance companies appropriately and accurately.
  • Conduct followup calls to check on patients after discharge, answer client questions and direct call to the appropriate doctor or technician if there are any questions or concerns.
