Adecco is currently recruiting for a Project Management Specialist for a 1.5-year Remote contract opportunity with possibility of extension. This role is with our Crown corporation client in downtown Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Secret Security Clearance
Project Management Specialist will have the following responsibilities.
  • Assist with cyber technology (such as cloud security operationalization) projects, automation that typically involve multiple systems, processes, and stakeholders at various levels within the cyber division and across several IT portfolios, including the overall scope, schedule, and deliverables by applying project management methodologies for planning, Agile principles, reporting, change control and risk management;
  • Oversee Cyber Security projects and initiatives focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM);
  • Develop and present project proposals, implementation plans, status reports and change and risk logs;
  • Prioritize and coordinate work to achieve project objectives, and ensuring the collaboration or other teams, as required;
  • Assist team with change requests and risk mitigation plans ;
  • Align success measures to track adoption and transformation progress;
  • Coordinate the input, support and communication with all functional areas that affect requirements related to project scope, business value, risk, and resources;
  • Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partners to ensure understanding of client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns;
  • Collaborate proactively with other client's teams to coordinate interdependencies and optimize flow for delivery and operational teams;
  • Assist client's employees with Agile and project management practices and methodologies;
  • Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning retrospective meetings and backlog management to provide guidance to the delivery team to identify and prioritize deliverables;
  • Provide regular updates on progress and value delivery to IAM management and/or the sponsor/client;
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed including all related documentations and processes
  • Ongoing activities and deliverable, as required
Project Management Specialist must meet the following mandatory requirements
  • Must have a university degree or college diploma in computer science, engineering, or business administration;
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in the field of information security and IT;
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a Project Management Specialist in overseeing a project team for the definition and implementation of cyber security solutions in a complex environment;
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience working as ScrumMaster and coordinating multiple Operation IT Scrum Teams;
  • Must be Certified ScrumMaster/Professional (CSM or CSP);
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into application solutions;
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise documents for a technical and non-technical audience;
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitation and problem resolution, solid analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and judgments ability to think conceptually;
  • Must have demonstrated experience with Cloud initiatives (AWS or MS Azure);
  • Must have a demonstrated experience in SailPoint IIQ and SailPoint IdentityNOW projects, including operational transition;
  • Demonstrated experience in transition and operationalization to a manage services model for an Identity Administration solution;
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and presentations to the program team and clients, including senior stakeholders;
  • Must have demonstrated experience in overseeing Zero Trust Strategy build.
