About the Client
Our client is looking for Senior Financial Analyst for 6-month contract opportunity.

About the Opportunity
  • Full-cycle month end, quarter end and year end journal entries for assigned operational segments and Hospital Foundation
  • Complete account reconciliation and prepare working paper
  • Participate in interim and year-end audit
  • Support the development of annual budget, monthly forecast and ad hoc costing for the assigned operational team(s)
  • Prepare internal/external reports, draft business case and analyzes variances
  • Identify risks and progress versus plans and recommend corrective action to operational leaders
  • Understands not-for-profit accounting rules and ministry reporting requirements & practices
  • Review and code invoices, on-site administrator for 3rd party invoice to pay software application
  • Preparation of grant applications/studies as needed
  • Provide oversight and reporting for capital/infrastructure projects
  • Prepare various reports for ministry submissions
  • Provides financial support for other project and initiatives through completion of ad hoc analysis and reports
  • Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
  • CPA designation
  • 3-5 years progressive full-cycle and FP&A experience
  • Meditech, Workday Adaptive and Advanced skills with MS Excel required
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial controls, not-for-profit accounting and ministry reporting standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with superior analysis, problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with a diverse group of operational leaders
  • Have a sense of urgency and abilities to prioritize assigned work with competing deadline
  • Ability to explain accounting and performance metrics to non-finance operational leader
