Electrical Instrumentation Technician

Do you have a good understanding and knowledge of process control systems, the ability to problem solve detailed electrical or instrumentation challenges and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate within a team? If so, we want you on our Development & Engineering Services Team
As the successful candidate as the Electrical Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for performing skilled electronic and electrical work involving troubleshooting and installing and repairing sophisticated and elementary instrumentation for power control systems in the Wastewater Treatment Plant, sanitary sewer and water distribution systems.
You will:
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical instrumentation repair and have recognizable training in Industrial Control Programming. You must be certified as a Canadian Interprovincial Red Seal in Industrial Electrician or Instrumentation. Completion of a current Canada’s Electric Code (CEC) Course as well as a Field Safety Representative (FSR) Certification is required in addition with a valid BC Driver’s License.
This CUPE 338 position will work Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm (weekend work may be required on occasion) and pays $45.28 per hour.
