Responsibilities
⢠Administer and ensure that WCLC Procurement policies are adhered to.
⢠Lead role in sourcing, supplier evaluation and contract negotiation
⢠Manages and executes all activities involving procuring goods and service for corporate contracts.
⢠Advises and leads internal business partners through various procurement processes including design through contract administration.
⢠Assists in the development and negotiations of new supplier agreements and contracts.
⢠Maintain RFx database.
⢠Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
⢠Minimum of 5 years proven experience in contracts administration or related discipline, well versed in contract negotiation
⢠Enrollment in Purchasing Management program preferred
⢠Knowledge of Inventory controls/ previous purchasing experience, a definite asset
⢠Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs including Excel and Word
⢠Excellent written and oral communication skills
⢠Ability to organize and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines
⢠Cross functional team experience
