What will you do?
- Become a trusted advisor to our tech clients and play a role as a partner in their growth journey
- Provide financial solutions, strategic advice, as well as initiate introductions to people or businesses that can help our clients.
- Apply a continuous-improvement approach to delivering a superior client experience.
- Create deep and meaningful relationships with our clients, and prospective clients.
- Provide excellent client service, identify, plan and execute solutions for our tech clients with a focus on day-to-day banking and cash management solutions
- Own the client onboarding experience by understanding the clientâs business model and cash management needs, leading the KYC and AML processes, and partnering with Treasury Solutions Specialists, Deposit Specialists, CNB Relationship Teams, and others to deliver value beyond banking.

- Passion for the tech sector: you want to play a role in Canadaâs innovation economy.
- Excitement for trying new things:Â RBCx is building an end-to-end platform complete with capital and non-capital solutions to help our clients thrive. We will forever be building, launching new products, and expanding our capabilities, and being able to embrace a constant state of improvement and innovation will be paramount.
- Empathy for the unknown and ever-changing:Â a tech company's needs can change often â and we need you to be comfortable with throwing plans out the window and going back to the drawing board when needed.
- Some service and sales experience: at least 2 years of experience in a service and/or sales environment with strong relationship management skills in commercial lending or business banking
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.

Nice-to-have Â
- You may have been in the trenches before: experience as an entrepreneur, launching a business,working in a start-up, or advising/mentoring and working with early stage tech startups at an accelerator, incubator, or innovation hub, and/or previously working at a venture capital fund
- You may have academic exposure through a post-secondary diploma/degree in commerce or business administration, or a sciences related degree and/or related experience.
- This isnât your first time in a business development and/or client relationship management or client service role.
