Location: Vancouver (Kerrisdale), BC

Job Description:

A private household in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a dedicated and caring Child Caregiver to provide full-time care for a child. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the child's safety, well-being, and development through engaging and age-appropriate activities. Additionally, some light housekeeping duties will be required.

Responsibilities:

- Provide attentive and nurturing care for a child
- Plan and engage in educational and recreational activities
- Prepare meals and snacks for the child
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying up, and dishwashing
- Ensure the child follows a consistent daily routine
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the childs progress and any concerns

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in child care or a similar role preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus

Work Schedule:

- Full-time, 40 hours per week, M-F
- Flexibility in scheduling may be required, including some evenings and weekends

Compensation:
- $18 per hour
- 10 days vacation annually or 4% vacation pay
