About the role

  • The successful candidate will be called to work at Halifax Shipyard once the necessary security clearances have been granted by the government of Canada. The candidate will be involved in the Artic and Offshore Patrol Ships Program, supporting the Set-To-Work, integration & test, maintenance and field trouble shooting for systems and capabilities on a highly complex Naval Combat suite.
  • Participate in STW of subsystems onboard ship
  • Support HAT and SAT trials
  • Support technical investigations onboard AOPS and other naval vessels
  • Document results in the Lockheed Martin Test Management System
  • Document, assess, and test deficiencies using the Lockheed Martin Defect Tracking Tool

What you bring to the role

  • Completion of a 2-year college diploma in Electronic Technology or Electronic Technician
  • Strong working knowledge of electronic and electrical test equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities
  • Aptitude for working well in teams.
  • Ability to work independently

Additional skills desired for the role

  • Knowledge of networking troubleshooting
  • Active security clearance will be considered an asset.
  • Results-Oriented Self-Starter Attitude
