(****PLEASE NOTE**** IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST BE LEGALLY ENTITLED TO WORK IN CANADA, HAVE 2+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE OPERATING POWDER COATING EQUPMENT, HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IN AN INDUSTRIAL SETTING, HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, AND HAVE YOUR OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE. Responsibilities
⢠Supervise and provide direction for a team of temporary employees (anywhere from 1 to 6 at a time depending on business levels)
⢠Operate powder coating equipment (spray gun and booth)
⢠Apply high quality powder coating to small automotive parts
⢠Operate finishing oven for freshly coated parts
⢠Load parts onto racks to prepare them for paint
⢠Plan daily production schedule and assign tasks accordingly
⢠Provide a last line of defense for product quality before packing
⢠Receive raw products once weekly
⢠Prepare finished parts for shipping (fill boxes with product, arrange boxes on skids, wrap skids) and use forklift to load finished skids into trucks to be shipped
⢠Arrange for restock of supplies, contact contractors if there are mechanical issues with equipment, arrange for racking to be sent out for cleaning as required
⢠Occasionally travel to parent facility when required to support another branch of the business
⢠Additional related duties may be required depending on the needs of the business

Qualifications
⢠MUST have a minimum of 2 years' experience operating powder coating equipment
⢠Forklift experience considered an asset
⢠Experience working in a fast-paced production environment where weekly quotas must be met is a huge asset and preferred
⢠Experience with quality control and holds an unwavering commitment to product quality
⢠Being a driven and motivated self-starter who requires little oversight
⢠Easy-going personality who gets along well with others but can run a team effectively
⢠Valid driver's license
⢠Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
