Responsibilities
⢠Develop and execute PR strategies tailored to the Home Improvement sector in Canada.
⢠Cultivate relationships with media, influencers, industry associations, and key stakeholders.

⢠Secure media coverage in relevant publications, both digital and print, including trade journals, local news, and industry blogs.
⢠Manage media inquiries and act as the spokesperson for the brand when necessary.
⢠Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing detailed reports on the success of PR initiatives.
⢠Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
⢠Stay up to date with industry trends and news to identify PR opportunities.
⢠Organize and promote industry events, product launches, and press conferences.

Qualifications
⢠Proven experience in public relations, with a focus on the Canadian Home Improvement industry.
⢠Strong network of media contacts within the home improvement, construction, or real estate sectors.
⢠Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling stories.
⢠Experience managing PR campaigns from strategy to execution.
⢠Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fractional role.
⢠Knowledge of digital media and influencer marketing is a plus.
⢠Familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR analytics.
⢠Bilingual (English and French) is an asset but not required.
