Job Duties:
Responsabilits
Examiner les conceptions de rparation de structures primaires.
Effectuer des analyses de fatigue laide des mthodes de calcul standards de lindustrie et des mthodes danalyse par lments finis.
Effectuer des analyses de propagation de fissure laide des mthodes de calcul standards de lindustrie.
Appliquer les modles danalyse mathmatique pour prdire et mesurer les rsultats et les consquences de la conception/rparation en matire de contrainte, de robustesse, de dure de vie et des intervalles dinspection.
Au besoin, prparer des plans dessais structuraux en dfinissant les requis et les objectifs en lien avec la rglementation pour la certification des hlicoptres commerciaux.
Supporter lquipe de conception/rparation en appliquant les facteurs de conception tels que la fonction, les matriaux, le rendement, linterchangeabilit, le poids en lien avec les exigences de rsistance la fatigue et la propagation de fissure.
Prparer des notes/rapports de justification qui rpondent aux exigences techniques du programme ainsi qu la rglementation.
Position Responsibilities
Review repair designs of primary structure.
Perform fatigue analysis using industry standard calculations methods and finite element analysis methods.
Perform crack growth analysis using industry standard calculations.
Applies mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequence of design, in terms of stress, strength, service life and inspection intervals.
Support the design/repair team by applying design factors such as function, materials, performance, interchangeability, weight in relation with the fatigue and crack growth requirements.
When required, prepares structural test plans by defining the requirements and objectives in accordance with the regulation for the certification of commercial helicopters.
Prepare substantiation notes/reports in line with both programs technical requirements and regulations.

Baccalaurat en gnie mcanique, en gnie arospatial ou dans une discipline quivalente.
Exigences du poste
Connaissance des mthodes danalyse classiques pour les composantes mtalliques et composites.
Connaissance en analyse de fatigue et de propagation de fissure est un atout.
Connaissance gnrale des matriaux et mthodes de fabrication de lindustrie aronautique.
Connaissance des mthodes danalyse par lments finis (Patran/Nastran et Ansys).
Connaissance du logiciel Catia V6 ou V5 est un atout.
Exprience relative au support technique la production est un atout.
Bonnes aptitudes communiquer en Franais et en Anglais.
Qualifications
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalent discipline is required.
Position Requirements
Knowledge of classical structural analysis methods for metallic and composite materials.
Knowledge of fatigue and crack growth analyses is an asset.
A general understanding of materials and manufacturing methods used in the aerospace industry.
Knowledge of finite element analysis methodology (Patran/Nastran and Ansys).
Knowledge of Catia V6 or V5 is an asset.
Experience in engineering shop support is an asset.
Good communicator with a functional knowledge of French and English.
