Benefits after 3 months (health & dental premiums are 100% employer-paid). Short-term and long-term disability coverage. Priority access to TELUS Health Virtual Care (access to a Doctor 24/7, 365 days a year). Compensation: $28-$34 per hour, depending on experience and education. The Drafter/Estimator will play a crucial role in the development and preparation of drawings using CAD, ensuring that design drawings meet specifications and design data. Develop and prepare drawings using CAD, ensuring that design drawings conform to specifications and design data. # Prepare and interpret conventional and CAD engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for machines and components. # Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project management. # Create shop drawings and manage projects through production to meet quality standards and client specifications. # Proficiency in CAD and other drafting software. Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with project management software is a plus. SCS Manufacturing, Inc. is a central Vancouver Island manufacturer of Waste Containers, Flat Decks, Gravel Boxes, and open-top containers. SCS also provides custom fabrication and design services to our clients. SCS services the Waste, Construction, Oil and Gas, Forestry, and Mining industries in Western Canada and Alaska.
