This is a permanent, home-based position with travel to support the Camrose trade area in Alberta. \r

What you will do: \r
\tJointly own and achieve squad P&L targets, in collaboration with all squad members \tPlan, prioritize and execute in short-term (90-day cycles), mid-term and long-term cycles \tAdapt, iterate, regularly reassess, and prioritize tasks to ensure continued progress towards squad outcomes \tCollaborate and co-create within squad to ensure clarity of accountabilities to maximize customer focus \tLeveraging digital tools and agronomic expertise position, support, and service the full Bayer portfolio of seed, crop protection and new business models, while also leveraging market intel and data insights to assess and prioritize opportunities \tContributing to effective team dynamics as a self-managing squad, via activities such as peer recruitment, selection, and performance feedback \tFoster an inclusive environment of professionalism and safe working practices ensuring Safety and Compliance requirements are met or exceeded within squad \tFoster strong relationships with key growers and new potential customers to drive market share and ensure a positive customer experience \tEnabled by a strong understanding of the complete portfolio and relevant programs, collaborate within the squad to grow and protect sales of BCS products and provide product and support services \tCollaborate within the squad to prioritize spend of discretionary KAM funds to maximize discretionary program impact? \tDevelop targeted strategies to drive sales across the full Bayer portfolio, including seed treatment sales with retails and commercial seed treaters \r

Who you are: \r
\tBSc in Agriculture or related discipline with a minimum 2 years of experience? \tExcellent understanding of local crop production, agronomy and Bayer portfolio for seed, crop protection and digital \tFlexible mindset and ability to adapt to changing business needs? \tStrong interpersonal, team and communication skills – presentation, written, verbal and listening, to maximize results with customers and internal stakeholders? \tUnderstands key customer needs to develop tailored solutions? \tExperience using digital tools to manage, interpret and leverage data? \tExcellent problem solving through analytical thinking in complex situations with minimal guidance? \tValid driver’s license and ability to operate motor vehicles safely? \tAbility to effectively supervise and coach summer students \r
Additional Preferred Skills/Experience - \r
\tCCA, CCSC, PAg (RTAg) or OAQ designation \tAdvanced computer and database skills with ability to use MS Office Suite as well as other BCS Software (CRM, Tableau)? \r
